Moment of panic this morning.
A sound awakens me; trying to get my bearings, I glance at the clock and stare in shock as I read 1059. Damn! I didn’t realize I was that tired.
Of course, the sound that woke me up was the radio alarm kicking in on the clock, which then temporarily showed the FM channel frequency…
But it got me out of bed.
