My sister-in-law, aka mother-of-our-nephew-who-lives-with-us, is flying into town tonight for a three day visit (one of the last people in either family to come see where we (and Justin) now live). We have cleaned, scrubbed, rearranged, hung, shelved, and generally gotten as ready as we can.

I’m done.

My role in what’s left of this weekend is sketchy at best — I will strive only to harmonize with the wife unit and be pleasant, then I’ll head to work on Monday and leave everyone else to run around town.

It’s not something to look forward to — it’s just something to get through (helped by all the kind people who’ve offered their assistance (and quick-dry cement) if things get to be too much to take; you guys are great.)

I am pretty sure that Reggie and I are the last on the list, sorry she beat us to it. But now it is Tuesday and she should be home bound now.

Something tells me that if we were taking take of Malik, you'd find a way to visit. Just a hunch.
