Just cured the Boy’s hiccups again, thanks to this post at JillMatrix:
Melly: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HICCUPS
Me: i have a cure …
Melly: ?
Me: ok, put your fingers on either side of your adam’s apple
Melly: k
Me: and think scientific. what will the next hiccup feel like?
Me: … and wait for it
Melly: i didn’t have one
Me: :-) see?
Melly: HOLY SH*T that’s crazy
Me: Jill’s miracle hiccup cure
Justin’s twelve. Worst like a charm about 70% of the time — the other 30% I blame the fact that he can’t stay focused on one thing for twenty seconds.

A miracle sneeze cure that works for me about 85% of the time is, when you feel a sneeze coming on, look to the light. Whatever light. Brightest thing in the area. Up, down, right across from you... Just focus on it, let it soak into your head, and the sneeze impulse will ebb away. <shrug>
Don't have a hiccup cure, though. Nor an Adam's apple, but I'll try this anyway next time the occasion arises...
