Justin and Jackie, driving down the street:

Jackie: Look at the guy in the weird hat.
Justin: What’s he trying to be, a homo?
Jackie: … ExCUSE me?
Justin: You know… like a homeless kind of guy.
Jackie: Do you mean hoBO?
Justin: Whatever, yeah.

I’d laugh harder, except that when I was in third grade I dressed up as a sort of hobo-clown for halloween…

and when someone on the school bus asked me what my costume was, I got it wrong, too. :(

That's comedy.

Good on Jackie for calling him on it, too. My parents would have just sighed, and not at the boy, but at the hobo.
