A touch football game between suburban Chicago high school girls turned into a brutal hazing in which players were slapped, punched, doused with paint and splattered in the face with mud and feces.

I don’t know if it’s newsworthy, but it’s a heck of a trick to get ‘touch football’, ‘high school girls’, and ‘splattered with feces’ all in the same opening sentence. Something of a journalistic trifecta for a group like SFGate.

And the school official had the balls to say it was "hazing"?!? What a bunch of CRAP! (ooooo, bad choice of words there...)

That ain't "hazing". Hazing is whacking freshmen on the head with your class ring turned over. Hazing is taping a freshmen to a toliet in the bathroom. (done the first one, victim of the second one)

This is flat out assault!

This ain't hazing. This was a riot.

Hazing is petty stuff, like making Midshipmen clean your boots, or when you pass your Submariners tests and get your Dolphins getting hit once by every crewman of a sub.

Or filling a locker up with empty Coke bottles.
