Here’s a few facts:
1.) Jackie went shopping for ‘a few things’ in anticipation of our niece’s arrival.
2.) This is a picture (click for hyper-cute enlargement) of the stuff she picked up.
3.) She’s going back to the same store today over lunch.
4.) She claims she has no Mother instinct.
5.) She’s a big liar.
That is all.

Heh. Given that Katherine's been the target of her largesse in the past, I am *not* surprised. At all. Except that you can actually fit all the stuff in the frame.

Well, Stan, I've always thought you looked cute in that little pink jumper she got you.

What!?!
I thought that the pink one was for John, I got the dark green one, and Randy was going for the Yellow one.

Take it from my experience. ANY woman who lives with only males will enjoy to no end shopping for cute little girly stuff. (I get to go shop for Aiden's "girlfriend"s birthday party. Barbie aisle, here I come!)

Heh.
Katherine was the first grand-daughter in a family of four grand-sons.
The grand-parents still haven't gotten over it.

Well, in her defense, that looks to be about a day's worth of clothing. Little tykes make such a mess, from both ends...
Cute stuff, tho...

In my defense clothes: sleep through the night every night, never need to be burped, fed, have their diaper changed, babysat, nor birthed.

Jackie does seem to be developing a mommy instinct - I am thrilled that she has chosen me as her target!! Thanks a ton. And in Jackie's defense, the clothes are pretty self maintaining - but the whole kid thing comes pretty naturally too.

Like I said Jackie--9 months and you'll have so much motherly instinct it'll knock your socks off. And besides Doyce is quite unlike his Dad in some aspects and I KNOW HE'LL CHANGE DIRTY DIAPERS!
