I could have posted links to a lot of different people who’ve been talking about Canada moving forward on making gay/lesbian marriages legal, but rather than any number of pages I could have gone to for the G/L P.O.V., I opted for the Canuckistani view; Marn’s, to be specific.
All I can say is that It’s About Freakin’ Time. Good Lord, if we straight people have had to suffer through marriage for eons, it’s only fair that the homos know the same pain.
Well said. If the law passes, the first thing I have to say to the G/L couples of Canada is this: “Welcome to this side of the fence, where the Grass looks Greener only because your mate is constantly nagging you to mow it.” :)

Marriage is two people standing up in public and saying, "This person. I will stick by this person no matter what, until one of us croaks". In return for making this insane promise, society gives married people special rights.
