Today is the halfway point of the month, which has been flying by, and NaNoWriMo, which leaves me about 15.7 days to finish up my 50,000 words. I’m at 22,000 right now (so you’ll notice the words aren’t flying by as fast as the days).
Putting it in perspective:
- I have already written five thousand more words for the book than I wrote all last month on this page.
- I’m making it through successfully simply by writing what happens next as well as I can. I still know what happens next, although I’m not 100% on the ‘how’ of it sometimes.
- I close the gap on my word deficit (at midnight last night it was 1800) every day, except for crappy crappy Sunday last week.
That’s pretty much all I’ve got for now.
