So today we cleaned. Lor’mighty, did we clean.

Boxes were emptied and the contents junked and/or organized.

Couches were moved. Huge tracts of family room carpet were shampooed, possibly for the first time in several years… possibly ever.

CD’s were brought together and organized.

Shoes were lined up.

I swept.

We got… lesse… most of the basement done. Most. Not all. Not nearly all.

You see, my parents are coming out to visit for Christmas.
