On the one hand, I feel like I should be able to come up with something profound to write about.

On the other hand, I’m lucky I can type at all right now.

For the last two weeks, I’ve been ending my workdays by getting home and promptly taking a 2 hour nap (on average).

Paying attention for 8 full hours is exhausting.

Tonight, I got home, grabbed my stuff, rolled to the consortium, made something up on the fly and stayed up til… well, now.

This is how I know I’m getting old. This shit didn’t even faze me at 24. Hell, I looked forward to it.

Consolation — I’ll flatter myself saying that everyone else looked just as jagged as I did by the end. I may be getting old, but I’m the youngest of the old guys.

Yup, I can remember working a 14 hour day doing construction work and then driving down to Vermillion with Dale to run games at Vermincon. Ah, youth where is thy sting? Wait, does youth have a sting? Okay, maybe I'm getting Alzheimers.:P

Just for the record, it's not MY fault you kept us all up so late.

Driving home was hell. Good thing my Lori was there to nag me all the way, or I might not have made it. :-\

"Faze." The word is "faze." For something to "phase" you means it's made you intangible and capable of floating through walls. Or something like that.

Sorry. It's a pet peeve of mine. Along with "sick" (vs the correct "sic") for setting one's dogs upon something.

Okay, I'll shut up now ...

I read 'faze' aloud (whispered) to myself and said "faaze" -- must have been a long time since I've seen it :)

I just got out of a meeting where the document said that we were going to "taylor" the project... AUGH!

Bugs me almost as much as when people write "bare with me..."
