In Saudi Arabia, police known as The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice prevented 15 girls from being helped out of a burning building because they were not properly covered with head scarves.
They blocked firemen trying to save the girls while saying, “it sinful to approach them.”
The girls? Oh, they died.
Y’see, you change the minimum gas mileage required in new vehicles to 40 mph, people. Hit em where it hurts: cuts these bastards off.

I wonder if there's ever any blowback for this kind of thing. Saudis are clannish folk. Presumably, the virtue policemen on hand were not members of the clan/s of the burnt girls. Out of 15 girls there should be at least a few fathers, uncles or brothers who are severely pissed about the needless deaths. It gets dark every night, accidents happen, etc.
