Movable Type 2.0 (aka: the coolest new version of the best blogging tool) is out. Now it’s in. Here, that is.

It’s sexy people. It’s very sexy. Best features:

You can search all blog entries for specific words. Big deal? How about this… you can search your blog entries for specific words, and automatically replace them.

Also, the layout is pretty damn nice. I might tweak a few of the templates to make them fit my screen, but very nice. (And very nice that I CAN tweak the templates.)

Anyway… that’s my geeky entry for this month on the toy that lets me do all this stuff. In other news, I added some new random taglines today, and I feel a few linkbar modifications coming on.

Hmmmm. Sounds like I have a project for Friday night.

It was (as usual) easy to do the upgrade. Now I'm just champing at the bit to start doing some new things with it.

I did my upgrade to 2.0 last week....the only problem I had was when converting the database files....the manual says you will get a 'Completed' or 'Error' msg to let you know it went ok. I didn't get either.....but everything seems fine.....it did drop all the catagories for my posts, but I just use the 'power edit' feature and fixed them all real quick.
