In the time from my grandfather’s generation to mine, language has evolved. Consider this:
An expression denoting ignorance on a subject:
“Hell if I know.”
has evolved into:
“Fucked if I know.”
Follow the evolution of the phrase: Ignorance used to mean Damnation; now it means Sex.
I’m sure this revelation explains something, but I have no idea what.
