Write a random phrase from each of the following:
Nearest magazine to you: “For hundreds of years, local natives have feared the valley. Despite the persistent stories of the ruins of some ancient civilization and the untold riches hidden there, the valley has been shunned altogether. To the locals the valley is a place of death and unspeakable evil; any who dare to enter are never seen again. Early Spanish explorers several hundred years ago heard of the valley from the locals and named it Nocturno Muerte — Night Death.” (Polyhedron 148, from a historical article I never noticed.)
Nearest book to you: A bushi is courteous because it is polite to be so. Those of the samurai class are expected to be cultured, educated, and of superior demeanor to commoners and barbarians. (Legend of the Five Rings ‘Magic of Rokugan’ - still on my reading stand following a book review for gameplayersnetwork.com)
Nearest cd insert:
I always leave her waiting
I always leave her down
if she should come my way
I always turn around
Please don’t tell her I love her
(big head todd & the monsters - beautiful world)
Nearest piece of paper that you wrote on: A hand-drawn map of my new house on a waterstained piece of graph paper, done from memory, dating from before we moved in.
Nearest piece of paper that was written to you: The first positive note that I got from one of Justin’s teachers after he moved to Denver: pinned to a bulletin board over my head.
Identify random writings from things on your desk: There is absolutely no handwritten stuff anywhere on my desk. I had to walk across the room to my bookshelves before I found any notebooks or notepaper. Anything recently written by me is on my PC or in the PDA or both.
