Take this one paragraph from this article about the new ACS addition to the Hubble telescope:
In recent years, astronomers analyzing light from type 1A supernovae have concluded the expansion of the universe is accelerating, not slowing down as previously assumed. The nature of the “dark energy” driving that acceleration is a mystery.

The last I heard the most interesting fact was that the rate isn't constant.

It's just a European style energy thats got a heartier flavor. Only Americans like the "light" energy with fewer hops and less photons.

It's from Gravitons and Tachyons and all those yons that kickbutt.
And don't forget, if you spin a superconducting magnet fast enough, the gravity field near it will decrease :).
American style energy is also served at 33-42 degrees to mask the fact that American's don't like the taste of hops, while European energy is served warmer and has fewer bubbles.
