Margie seems to think Dizzy might be part beagle, mixed in with the very obvious German Shep.
It’s an astute observation that’s doubly hard to argue when there’s evidence like this floating around.
The problem with most of the pictures we take of the dogs is that they always looks so mopey. The reason is simple: we’re trying to get them to sit still, and they’re both positive that this is because they’re in trouble.
However, THIS is much closer to what the average visitor to the house is going to see.

Nah, all the average visitor is going to see is a brown blur, a pink tongue, and huge black blur hurtling toward them ...

this is the dog I wish my mother had picked out. You can't take pictures of Pepsi... well, maybe in the 10 seconds she is wolfing at the food bowl...
what's Dizzy up to now, about 35 lbs?

I'm not sure, but I don't think it's that much. She's getting taller, but isn't really bulking out -- I'd say around 30 (she was 24 the day she got spayed), but I might be surprised.
