Well the weather man does say that Colorado is in a drought - maybe snow is just what you need?!

It rained for at least a good 10 hours before it turned to snow. We do need all the moisture we can get. Besides, this is Colorado, the snow will be gone by this afternoon.....

Nice.
Crap we don't get that much snow in a year here in Portland.
Wait, we haven't gotten that much snow here in Portland in the last 3 winters, put togeather.

Oh yea, on the Global Warming, some compuer models predict that global warming will actually cause an ice age. Increased precipt and rising water levels will increase the amount of light reflected back into space, lowering the ground temprature, and when it does snow, it'll stay longer, increasing the light reflected more, and in a few hundred years, wham! Glaciers rolling into the Twin Cities, which will still be bickering about the Vikings and Twins getting new stadiums.

My dad reported going over Monument last night that it was snowing, and then the snow was briefly so thick up here in Manitou that visibility was fine, if all you wanted to see was a sensory-deprived white. On the other hand, as of about 2:35pm, all the snow is melted and we're seeing the sun.
