Is it still Tuesday? I don’t even know — the weird, long weekend and constant commuting down to the Springs and then running back to Denver to finish the last three hours of work in my office have me completely confused. I still want to visit Lee and De this week while I’m down there.
1. Do you like your job?
Sure, aside from the aforementioned. Travel doesn’t really bother me, but doing an 1.3 hour drive to spend 3.4 hours training, followed by another 1.3 hour drive to spend 20 minutes with my dogs and 2 more hours at work is leaving me a little cold.
Upside: I think the training is going well, even if you don’t consider that I haven’t actually been trained on software and have never seen anyone else conduct a training course (which is supposed to be a prerequisite) it’s going well.
2. What can you not live without?
Like… food… and stuff.
In the intrinsic emotional realm? My wife, and the opportunity to tell stories.
3. What are you thinking right how?
People can see into my office right now, but I can’t see them.
4. What would Jesus do?
Meet the buddha on the road and kill him — there’s a mixed religious reference for you.
5. Does your heart follow your eyes? Could you date the same people you eye day to day?
I don’t really eye people from day to day, except for the one I’m married to. I can’t remember the last person I met face to face that I found… distracting, let’s say. It’s certainly been several years. I’d say a definate no — this heart does not follow these eyes.
