1. Doyce is… me… twice.
2. Doyce is… a very politically-excitable student at Texas A&M University.
3. Doyce is… very deep, well drained, slowly permeable soil in central Utah.
4. Doyce is… an elderly man with a wife named Vivian.
5. Doyce is… a Lt. Colonel with a section of highway named after him in the city of Climax, Georgia.
6. Doyce is… a large black woman “over whom gravity has no power”.
7. Doyce is… the last person in Mississippi that anyone would ever expect to be caught up in a sex scandal involving bondage.
8. Doyce is… a welder for Midwest Conveyor of Kansas City, a member of McGintytown Church of God, and a Navy veteran.
9. Doyce is… a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of History.
10. Doyce is… someone with deep psychological problems (for one thing, she likes cats).
So, here’s my challenge: Three of the above entries are fictional characters. Without looking at the search page or following links, tell me which three you think are an authorial invention. (This should be easy, since you all already know I’m fictional.)

Hint #1: All three fictional Doyce's have been guessed, but not by any one person.
Hint #2: The most consistent guess thus far has been completely wrong :)
