Decided to do this early, since I’m up way early and had nothing else going on.
Good
- Malik, my nephew, the 3 year-old miracle baby. So smart, so funny, so cute. I’ll have a couple pictures up when I get home.
- Justin, who’s behaved remarkably well throughout the trip.
- Jackie finally knows how Strange Weapons ends.
- We get home today and still have a little of our weekend left.
- That remaining portion of weekend will spent with friends (starting at 1 *PM*, not 1 *AM*, as I wrote in email last night).
- Since they first wrote the paper that they gave Dad that describes it, they’ve changed the methodology of the tests he has to do on Wednesday — said procedure is much less invasive and uncomfortable.
- I got a spiffy new hat.
- It looks like it rained a little a home yesterday, and as I write this, the little weatherpixie has his umbrella up again. Whoo!
Bad
- He can’t work at his normal job, and that bugs the crap out of him, I can tell.
- I didn’t get to see my sister more than 15 minutes (not counting a whirlwind run to Home Depot).
- What the hell is this “humidity” stuff you speak of?
Ugly
- Somehow, Jackie’s taillights aren’t working (the brake lights are). This is annoying, in that they must be fixed, but hey… it’s a good reason for us to leave early and drive during the day.
- Tire and alignment checks are very much required when we get home.
- There were supposed to be tests yesterday, but as I’ve said they changed the testing procedure, so yesterday was just a “radioactive marker” I.V. and no new information. Wednesday is a big day.
- Everyone went to go see MIIB without me :( (Justin informs me he’d “suffer through it” again.)
