I was looking over the sponsor pages at Blogathon.org and I have to say I’m really impressed. People really seem to be doing their part, and I’m pleased to be doing as well with the fund-raising bit as I am, because I’m uncomfortable in that role.

Well, I don’t want to seem snarky, and I don’t want to dismiss anyone’s charities. They are all good and worthwhile charities, many of which I would be supporting if I weren’t working on CaP CURE.

Dammit, I can’t help it — we’re getting bested by a cat adoption program. Don’t get me wrong, people… I like cats (mostly), and I firmly believe that responsible adoption programs are vital to healthy animals. It’s a good cause. It is, truly.

But come on: This is Cancer! The Silent Killer! Get out there and sponsor someone (you can even do something like sponsor me :) *
