The Thursday Thumb-Twiddler: Tholiday Thursday
1. You’re helping raise money for a charity, and someone pledges a very large contribution if you’ll perform, on stage, at the upcoming fund-raising show. There will be about 1,100 people in the audience. Would you be willing to perform? If so, what sort of act would you prefer to do?
Whatever they like. Seriously. I no longer have any shame to speak of, and in most areas I can keep from completely embarassing myself, so bring it on.
2. Have you ever cheated in a game (like a card game) for money?
The last time I played anything for money I think I was 12, playing rummy for pennies with my grandpa. Cheating is nigh on impossible when little hands must keep track of seven cards.
3. If you could go back in time and relive any moment in your life exactly as it happened, what event would you choose to experience again?
<cornball>The first time Jackie said ‘I Love You’. (To me, dumbass.) As I recall, I was dropping her off from a date on the front steps of her place. It was late and I was really not expecting it. (I’d been declaiming similar things to her for awhile by that point, but I’m used to be the first one to get to that point.)</cornball>
I had a pretty good drive home, after that.
