Having a problem with the software install at the site I’m currently training at.
What it boils down to is a very troublesome error message (which shows up about 15 or so times and then locks up the module in which it appears) — the error is the result of a new software upgrade for the package that’s just been made available.
If the upgrade is installed correctly on both server and workstations, everything is cool. If the upgrade is not installed at all, everything is cool (unless you’re on 2000). Install one and screw up the other (doesn’t matter which), and you’re hosed. I’ll probably be at the site fixing this till who-knows-when tonight.
Further proof that it would be better if you did nothing at all if you’re going to do it half-assed.
