Things slowly get back to normal in the Denver area (Justin’s been on snowdays since Tuesday, but on the upside his Diablo II character’s are leveling fast :P).
Not much in the way of yard work coming up this weekend (obviously), and we’ve got a few errands planned here on Saturday and Sunday, but other than that, not much planned. Probably a good thing, since I think snow removal might find it’s way onto the schedule somewhere. The new PC shows up next week, followed by a lot of CD burning of Firefly episodes. (It has a TV card in it too… I’ll have to see how that thing works as well… much techno-geekiness next week.
Oh, and we’re bombing Iraq a lot, and people all over the place are mad about it. I think it’ll be interesting to look back a decade from now.

Not a lot to talk about when I can't mention work :P

Last night protesters blocked all the Interstates in the Portland Metro area.
Before and after that, they blocked all the downtown bridges.
My protester tolerance is fading rapidly.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're trying to say here: "What's happening is wrong, and we're going to piss everyone off until they realize it and join us"?
The hell?

They also decided it'd be cool to push over Portland PD's brand new BMW motorcycles.
They marched by my place which prompted my buddies to call me and suggest various tactical firearm drills.
It's great, one has to plan Saturdays downtown around the threat of protests.
At least it wasn't as bad as SF, there they vomited as a group at the Federal Building and tried to pull people out of SUVs.

London was somewhat like that, although me missed a great deal of it by being in Wales for the bigger protests -- I think if we were there now it would be much more of a problem.

I found the "Pukers for Peace" extremely amusing. An ingenious idea, and no harm done. The SUV thing doesn't sound true.
The idea of breaking things and blocking everyday traffic to protest the changed state of the world is stupid, though.

*grumble* Portland protesters *snarl* idiotic *snort*
The level of blatant stupidity in this town seems to have skyrocketed. Oh joy.
