Of course I’m having it delivered to my house, and I’m not THERE, so this news isn’t quite as delightful as it might normally be.
Wish I could have checked this status from home so I could have left a note on the door for them, but I can’t — my current PC’s powersupply fan went completely out this weekend so I can only run the box for a little bit at a time before the PS starts to overheat and lock the machine up.
I’d say it was definitely time to get a new machine.

Yeah, I know... I'm a tool.
The Dell offer was just too much machine at that price not to get -- with my machine failing imminently, I had to get something fast and relatively cheap.
If it saves my soul at all, I'm pricing powerbooks on ebay at this very moment.
