I checked my hit counts for Saturday just now, and muttered to myself about how much the hit-counts drop during the weekend.
Then it occured to me that it was still more people than the total employee list at my job. I’m a silly person sometimes.
Funny, though, that I get 3 times that many hits on a normal Thursday. It will be interesting to see how much people’s hit counts drop because of the Nimdaa virus (with companies shutting down Internet access til they get it under control).
Also, and I feel the need to say this because over 90% of my visits are from people using Internet Explorer, GO TO THE M$ WEBSITE AND UPGRADE YOUR BROWSER. Anything earlier than 5.5 service pack 2 can and will be exploited by this new virus.
It all makes me think that Micro$oft organized the whole thing to encourage people to upgrade to Version 6. Seriously, will the bad press for the security holes in the old version hurt them as much as millions of people upgrading to Version 6 will help them?
And NT servers are being affected, but Win2000 is okay? Upgrade city.
It just makes you wonder.
