A day of errand running (haircuts, TB shots, etc.) lies before me (interspersed with reading up on the hidden corners of London circa 1932 and the theorized history of Machu Picchu.
Mine is a life of eccletic self-education.

Good for you! It's good to hear that some are not trapped in an office--gives me hope. Take care.

TB. Tuberculosis testing -- a three part process that takes place over the course of weeks.
Then followed by vaccinations for whatever I'm not already immune to... right now, that list is rubella/measles, which I'm probably going to get the shots for on Friday.
Why? Because my new health insurance asked for the tests, and not having measle immunity is a problem if, in the words of the nurse 'you're around kids a lot.' Yeah.

Wow...
I knew what it was (had to do it prior to being hired for the Flats), but I would not have thought it would be needed for a regular job.
Well, Good for you...you will be the healthiest amongst us once again.

Read in passing recently the suggestion that Macchu Pichu was the "Camp David" of the Incas -- a royal meeting place city, not someplace where folks lived regularly. Didn't read the article that went with the reference, though.
