I’ve been a little quiet today, so here’s something meaty to tie you over: punk fui (Feng Shui for regular people).
The nastiest thing in the world is clutter. Clutter makes massive amounts of sha chi, so clean up! Piles of newspapers, old bottles, wadded up clothing is not cool. You are causing confusion and negative energy in your life. The parts of your house that are cluttered correspond to unresolved things in your life (see the corners section). Here is the caveat however: one woman’s clutter is another woman’s neatness. So put on your clutter meter and figure it out for yourself.
Easy to read, easy to implement, and short. Good stuff, which prompted me to pick up a proper Feng Shui book (well, a mini one, but detailed) when we moved into the new house (which was pretty Feng Shui to begin with and remains clutter free due to us not having enough furniture to fill it).

LOL... "The parts of your house that are cluttered correspond to unresolved things in your life...
Okay, this is frightening... if true...
Yikes!

Clutter is one's friend.
Stacks are logical and good.
I'm looking at it from the Myth of the Paperless Office PoV though :)

The 'frightening if true' thing... I was waiting for that comment from Dave or Margie. :)

Clutter has a name and it is Katherine (though Dave and Margie help it along)

Also - I'm not sur that I have unresolved issues in the guest room - Just a lack of priority.

Furniture just makes it harder to vacuum and more stuff to dust. Although it is more comfortable to sit on than pulling up a thumb for a place to rest the bode.
