Basement Project ‘03 is 95% done. All that’s left are two more bookshelves to assemble and paint the edges on, and two end tables and a coffee table to paint — far more fun than painting a stairwell, lemme tell yah.

I might recount the saga this coming week to make up for the huge lack of posts, it’s hard to say.

Yesterday, we went shopping and really scored on the furniture front, picking up three end tables, two coffee tables, and a entryway stand that really works with the stuff in our front room — all of it (that’s 6 pieces of furniture) for 150 bucks.

Yeah, that’s pretty damn good.

Also, father’s day gift: Jackie and I scored an HP 1200 laserjet for 200 (we split the price and let me opine that I’ll take an HP1200 for 100 bucks any day of the week.
