Today is Jake’s birthday: he is three years old and thus finally legal to drink in Doggy Colorado. I can tell he’s very excited by this (or possibly it’s just the pizza sitting next to me on the desk).

Update: Jake helped himself to a birthday treat: while Jackie was in the store picking up ice cream, Jake hopped up into the back seat and ate half the crust off of the apple pie she’d picked up :) He was a very happy dog.

So I'll bring Jake a 6 pack the next time I see him as a belated birthday present. What does he prefer? Coors? Bud? MGD? The German beers that I can't spell?

But since he is a Lab/Great Dane mix, any Canadian or Danish beer will do.

a nice LABat's would do nicely. And since Lori will be doing this on a non-Nobilis/Amber night only Dave, Dave, Doyce, Jackie, Margie, Ray, Julie, Randy, and Justin need worry about the possiblity of playing outside on the deck.

Apparently, based on the episode with the Villiage Inn pie, he might like some apple cider.
