Has anyone ever posted classified ads for cars? Me neither.

2000 DODGE DAKOTA 4.7L V8, Low Miles, Cruise, ALB, AM/FM Cass. & CD, Power everything, 4WD on the fly. Great Cnd.

I don’t know if this is the way it’s supposed to look but it’s time to get something going, so this is what I’m sending in to the local papers.

I sold a car through the paper.

Instead of low miles, why not put in an actual figure like 45K?

I tihnk Antilock Braking System is usually abbreviated ABS, not ALB. Though I guess folks will figure it out.

And, yeah, I think folks would rather see the "low miles" number than the claim, since it's simple enough.

What are you replacing your truck with, and whay aren't you using it as trade in bait?

I don't think I can get the value that I want using it as trade in.

I just bought out the lease and turned it into a loan so I could sell it -- thus, I owe an amount well below the blue-book, but more than I'm going to get as trade-in -- they'll just try to offer me less for it than I owe and roll the difference into whatever I buy, and I don't really want that.

As for what I'd like to own: a smaller, more fuel-efficient and sportier car is really what I'm looking for -- Ideally, that would be a Mini Cooper, but I'm willing to look at things like the Ford Focus (which is supposed to be pretty fun to drive) and a couple of the hybrid cars.

Again, ideally, Mini Cooper. That's sort of the dream car.
