I think Segways are a bad idea in general.
I've had some run-ins with them in Portland and I think they are accidents waiting to happen.
There's some dumbass who rides one around at night with no lights, reflectors or helmet.
If the new right of way law passes in Oregon, it's not going to matter if a Segway, bike or skateboard is at fault, if you are in a car and hit them no matter what the situation the driver of the car will be at fault.
