Home sick today and actually feeling as though I deserve to be. Sitting up here typing this is making me tired. Bah.

Anyway, coughing — not of the Fun. Didn’t get to see the people in from Florida this weekend.

The fire is apparently still mostly going south, but last night I started coughing around three a.m. from the tang in the air, and everything smells vaguely like a campfire. There’s been some precipitation but not the sort of stuff you want to go walking in — the sky thundered and shook and half of what came down was hail.

Saw Scooby Doo under some protest. Lillard did a great job as Shaggy. Everyone else was passable, and it was neat that it was a ‘real’ threat this time. The last half hour was abominable, but probably cathartic for some people who used to watch the show (which I despised).

Haven’t seen Bourne Identity yet, and it seems like I would like to. Has anyone?

Ate some fruit, took some pills. Still feel like crap. Hugs and kisses, but not from me…

I've got a second-hand recommendation for Bourne Identity. A co-worker saw it. She liked it. But then, she may just want to lick Matt Damon. You never can tell.

Well, it was certainly a damn fine book. The movie looks passable, from the commercials (whatever that means).

The Bourne Identity was fun. It didn't break any new cinematic ground, but it was certainly a good ride. I'd recommend it.

Sorry that you think that Scooby Doo sucked - Malik is still begging to go and take his Scooby and Shaggy with him.

I agree with Rey. Bourne Identity was fun, definitely kept me jumping here and there. Worth a matinee, at least.
