There are two packets, one is traveling from New York to Seattle, the other is traveling from Omaha to Seattle on the same uunet backbone fiber.
If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, and there is a 1800 km difference in the distances, how much sooner does the packet from Omaha get to Seattle?
