Friday:
Actually, I worked on work stuff on Friday for a good part of the day — it’s ironic that I got more done on what’s supposed to be a holiday than I usually do on a normal day.

Later, we were over to the Consortium for some impromptu OA (since folks couldn’t make the normal game). More on that on the games page.

Saturday:
I’ve been chomping at the bit to do the next session of Nobilis, so I was very much looking forward to having folks over. An unexpected upside was that Lee’s brother Mike was visiting Lee and De and decided to come up to hang out — I’ve actually known Mike longer than any of the other Kenyon’s, so that was really great.

(Jackie, who’d never met Mike but knew both his brothers, was very surprised by the differences between the clan. I can see her point: blonde hair, blue eyes, different build, different disposition — truly, life is all about the endless variety.)

In other news, we watered the lawn tree times on Saturday and the grass is still ‘crunchy’ — which is to say it snaps in half when you walk on it and the only green patches are the rare bits of dogweed :P

Sunday:
Back over to the Consortium to finish the unfinished bits of Friday’s game, then home, where I crashed at around 6pm and slept most of the night.

I was disappointed Lee wasn't able to make it up (though amused by the round-via-phone).

On the other hand ... you made a point of noting how different Mike and Lee look ... but I don't know that I've met either enough to confirm that ... and I never did get a chance to see both of them in the same room ... hmmmmm ....

I blame the parents, really. Lee and Dale look like their father; Mike looks like their mother. (Their dad is well, well, well over six feet, and their mother is short enough to put in your pocket.)

Yeah, so you say. I still haven't seen the two of them together ...

Okay, I admit it. I'm actually ***Dave in disguise. I use clever hologram technology to fool everyone during the game sessions.

Heh. I had a blast hanging out with the Nobilis crew. Good group of gamers, and a cool group of people.
My brothers have always claimed that I do not look like them because of the milkman . . . But, I think our dispositions are probably more alike than different. The main difference is that I consider sarcasm to be the spice of humor and Lee thinks it is the main course.
