A copy of Hitman 2 found it’s way onto my hard drive a few nights ago.
I have no life, now. Nothing to see here, move along.

Nevermind. :)

Played the first one. Found it too full of puzzles, and not enough 'hits'.
What do you think of version 2?

I will be happy to show you :)
In response, though -- if you want to get the "Silent Assassin" rating (which you get for using a maximum of one bullet per designated goal, and not triggering any alarm, mechanically or with a person), it can be pretty puzzlish.
I don't normally get that rating. I'm a lot more likely to get "Cleaner", "Mass Murderer" or "Psychopath" (Though honestly, psychopath requires just as much skill and dedication as Silent Assassin -- it's just a different kind of skill... sometimes those innocent delivery men find really good places to hide when the shooting starts!)
It's nice because you can really do a mission lots of different ways, depending on what mood you're in. I've done the first mission where the only guy who got away was the dude from the nearest town who was delivering groceries (and only because I didn't know he was there) -- I've also done the same mission where only the main guy died (one bullet) and I left one embarrased guard with no clothes and a cloroform headache. :)

But I'm not obsessed, I swear.

Ok, color me underwhelmed.

I've discovered it doesn't appeal to everyone :)

Ok, after playing the copy that I 'acquired', I've found 2 to be much more entertaining than 1 ever was.
The whole thing about sauntering on into a heavily armed Russian military complex with a shotgun and a shitload of ammo, and being the only one moving when I'm done... I guess all I needed was the black leather jacket, a good pair of shades, and to say, "I'll be back."

Oh, and "psychopath" isn't hard to earn when you are bound and determined to get a 100% kill ratio, innocent bystanders included. :-)
